Web App Testing

Tests a local web app with Playwright: checks behavior, screenshots and browser logs. Needs the app running and a browser.

How to use it

Install it with the open Skills CLI (needs Node.js), then restart your agent:

npx skills add anthropics/skills --skill webapp-testing
  1. Download the ZIP from this page and unzip it.
  2. Put the webapp-testing folder in .claude/skills/ inside your project (or ~/.claude/skills/ for all projects).
  3. Restart Claude Code and call it with /webapp-testing.

More for testing

  • /run (built into Claude Code): Launches and drives your app to show a change working in the real app, not just in tests.
  • Test Driven Development: Runs the red-green-refactor loop: write a failing test, make it pass with the minimum code, then clean up with tests still green.
  • Dogfood: Runs exploratory testing on a web app and writes a bug report with repro steps and screenshots or video. Needs agent-browser.
