HEIC to JPG converter

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows apps, websites and printers cannot open. Convert them to JPG in seconds; your photos never leave your device.

HEIC decoding uses libheif (LGPL-3.0) from libheif-js, unmodified, in a separate file; source: github.com/strukturag/libheif.

How to use it

  1. Drop one or many .heic photos from your iPhone.
  2. Choose the JPG quality.
  3. Download each JPG, or all of them as a ZIP.

Questions

Why can't I open HEIC files?

HEIC is Apple's space-saving photo format. Windows and many apps need an extra codec, so converting to JPG is the easiest fix.

Is the photo quality kept?

Yes. At 90 to 95 quality the JPG looks the same as the original.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device and nothing is stored on our servers.

Is it free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
