Image to SVG for Cricut
Cut machines need simple, closed shapes, not thousands of colors. This tracer starts in Black & white mode to give you one clean cut layer, with an option for a few color layers for multi-color vinyl.
How to use it
- Drop your design. High contrast artwork on a plain background works best.
- Use Black & white for a single cut layer, or Logo & clipart with 2 to 6 colors for layered vinyl. Move Threshold until thin lines stay connected.
- Download the SVG and upload it to Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio.
Questions
How do I get separate layers for each vinyl color?
Choose Logo & clipart and set the colors to the number of vinyl colors you will cut. Each color becomes its own group of paths, which Design Space shows as separate layers.
Thin lines break apart. What can I do?
In Black & white mode, move Threshold so more pixels count as dark, and lower Clean-up so small parts are kept.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device and nothing is stored on our servers.
