JPG to SVG converter

JPG files are photos and scans, so this page starts with the detail-friendly Photo style. It smooths out JPEG noise first, then traces the image into layered vector shapes you can scale and edit.

How to use it

  1. Drop a JPG. A sharp, well-lit image traces better than a small or blurry one.
  2. Keep the Photo style for pictures, or switch to Logo & clipart if the JPG is a flat graphic. Raise Detail to keep more texture.
  3. Download the SVG and open it in any vector editor.

Questions

Why is my SVG file large?

Photos have thousands of tiny color areas. Lower the number of colors or raise Clean-up to merge small specks and get a lighter file.

Will the JPEG artifacts show up?

The tracer groups similar colors, which removes most compression noise. Clean-up removes any small specks that remain.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device and nothing is stored on our servers.

Is it free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
